With years of experience as a plus size model, pageant organizer and fashion industry professional, Ms. Theresa realized the industry was void of an appropriate blueprint for full figured women seeking to begin a career in modeling. In 2014, she collaborated with Belinda Trotter-James creator/former editor-in-chief for Hype Hair, Try It Yourself Hair and 2 Hype magazines to co-author the book Power of the Plus: The Full Figured Blueprint to Pageants, Fashion Shows & Modeling Careers. Women entering the Ms. Full-Figured USA Pageant and its nationwide pageant subsidiaries use it as guide to help them get the most out of their experience. The book has received great reviews since its release and continues to sell out on Amazon.

 

Ms. Full-Figured USA (United Sisters of America), INC. has since expanded into North Carolina, Louisiana, New York, Iowa, Pennsylvania and has plans to continue to grow throughout the United States. As plus size women from all over the country participate in their local state chapter and advance to compete in Ms. Full-Figured USA, it is clear that size has no barrier on the beauty runway.
